Spilsby Internet Solutions - Lincolnshire's friendliest ISP!


I am one of three individuals who run a small ISP business based in Spilsby, Lincolnshire.

We specialize in ADSL/ADSL2+/FTTC provisioning and supply both residential/business services to users where other ISPs claim it is impossible - line is too long, too much noise on the line, etc, etc.

Our products are reasonably priced, our network is uncongested, our support is second-to-none and you will be speaking to the chaps who build and maintain the network (not dealing with outsourced telephone support from outside of the UK).

Static IPv4/IPv6 addressing is standard and not a chargeable extra... oh, and we also provide and support IPv6-capable routers with our service too!

We are happy to take on lines from other ISPs where service is either too slow, customer support is non-existent and will assist in beating BT Wholesale/Openreach with the proverbial stick when your line quality suffers due to no fault of your own.

Getting lines activated which other ISPs claim is impossible is also a challenge which I personally enjoy :-)

I enjoy a challenge...

A quick Google found your contact details with a telephone number and postcode; those details indicate to me your line *should* be able to do 1.5Mbit/s.

Failing that, BT Wholesale will accept an order for the fixed-rate 512Kbit/s ADSL service that most providers won't provision any more but some of our customers on very long lines prefer a reasonable speed but stable service as opposed to a service which is frequently up and down due to line retrains, etc - so, I can pretty much guarantee 512kbit/s but I would first like to push for the full 1.5Mbit/s that BT Wholesale claim the line is capable of.

We do have other customers on the East Kirkby exchange; one of whom had a water-damaged distribution point that we got BT Openreach out to repair and boosted the line throughput from just under 1Mbit/s to 2.5Mbit/s.

I'm happy to offer you our 'we fix your line or you don't pay' guarantee in that we migrate your line in from your old ISP, you give us 30 days to improve the speed of your line (this can be extended by mutual consent if we are clearly making progress but the bottleneck is BT Openreach) and if we fail to do this, you can migrate out at the end of the 30 day period to another ISP with nothing to pay.

Our basic residential service is £15 a month and yes, there are reasonable usage restrictions but if your main usage is outside 9am-6pm on weekdays, it is unlikely you will ever hit them but you will be made aware of our usage charging model before we allow you to commit to anything - we prefer to be up-front and honest than bury this kind of stuff in the small print.
